Appointments
Requesting an appointment
Before you request an appointment
- find out how pharmacies can help, for example with 7 common illnesses (“Pharmacy First”)
- have a look at what local services are available.
These options may provide you with the help you need more quickly.
Or, you can request an appointment:
- using an online form
- by phoning the surgery
- or in person
If you are unable to use our online form, you can call the surgery. We treat all requests in the same way, no matter how you contact us. Once we’ve reviewed your request, we’ll contact you during surgery hours. If you don’t need immediate help, please let us know when you request an appointment. This may be, for example, because:
- you’re due to have a health check-up or screening
- you need a vaccination
- your ailment is minor, or you’ve had it for a long time already
Please tell us if you feel that you need an appointment urgently. We’ll review your request carefully.
Our website is open for medical requests from Monday to Friday from 8am-3pm only, these will be sent to a GP for triage and responded to according to urgency. Where appropriate, we may offer you an appointment on the same working day. If we think you need immediate help, we may tell you to go to a hospital, or you may be signposted to another provider where appropriate.
Administrative and routine appointment requests, such as long term condition and medications reviews, vaccinations and screening, can be submitted at anytime using our routine appointment/admin form.
For further information please see our booking leaflet: Booking System Information & FAQs leaflet
