Never had a bad experience with this wonderful team. As is pretty standard across the NHS at the moment, their wait time for a standard appointment can be a little bit longer than id hope, but theyre always there to help. I get call backs within a couple of hours from the triage team and have had several same day appointments off the back of that.
I cant ask for more than what they are already doing. Everyone from the reception team, to all the doctors ive seen and the wonderful phlebotomist. Thank you. Youre all doing excellent work and i appreciate all of your hard work!

FAQs

Do I have to leave my old GP?

Yes. Registering with us transfers your NHS GP care to Guildowns Group Practice. You can switch again in future if you wish.

How quickly will I be registered?

We aim to confirm registrations within 3 days (Monday to Friday).

I live outside of Guildford— can I still register?

Yes. We accept patients across Surrey as out-of-area patients.
- No home visits are available for out-of-area patients, and you must be able to travel to the surgery for face-to-face appointments. It is not recommended to register if you are housebound or have significant mobility issues.

When can I contact the practice?

Once registered, you can message us on the website during opening hours 8am-6.30pm (Monday to Friday) for advice, medication and appointment requests.
Webforms are not monitored 24/7

- For emergencies, call 999.
